Since 1999 the Branch Brook Park Alliance has worked to restore this Olmstead designed park and make it more accessible to Newark residents. Schumann support will help the organization establish an urban farm at the southern end of the park to grow fresh produce that will be marketed to area residents, restaurants and schools.
