Since 1985, the Camden City Garden Club has provided hands-on environmental education to children in Camden’s public and parochial school. The Children’s Garden, opened in 1999, provides an oasis for Camden residents, as well as job training opportunities for young people from Camden. The Schumann Fund supported the educational programming in the Garden and in Camden elementary schools.
