Now in its 30th year, CASA for Children of Essex County ,works to promote the welfare of children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. They train and supervise volunteers to advocate for the best interest of children in court to ensure that each child receives needed services and assistance while speeding them to a safe and permanent home. Schumann supports CASA’s Center of Advocate Development.
