The New Jersey Work Environment Council (WEC) is an alliance of 70 community, environmental and worker organizations working to improve the environment and to ensure that workplaces are safe for people who work in them and for families who live nearby. Our grant supports WEC’s Safe Recovery Project that provides education, training, and technical assistance to volunteer organizations working on recovery projects in communities impacted by Superstorm Sandy.
